The technology man (Pete) originally tuned in my new sanyo TV from ASDA, he set it up with my SKY & video. Since then he has helped my loads of times with my laptop and yesterday fitted my BT Vision box to my TV. He also moved my wireless router into the living room as it looked nicer there. He told me I had 10mb broadband which was pretty good for ADSL internet, thats always nice to know - I always recommend Peter, he really does know what he's doing, as he said to me once, he can't build me a wall or fit me a kitchen, but show him some technolgy and he can always help me with it! x

Peter started out by sorting my TV out when Virgin Media cocked my setup up. I wanted to record from my V box. Peter put the scart in the correct postion and showed my what to do. He even wrote it down for me. That was a few years ago now. Peter fixes and upgrades my PC when ever I get annoyed with it. He has also supplied me with a new 24" LCD monitor and install it as well as a Hard Drive Media Box which I watch films I have downloaded on my Sony LCD television. Higher Recomended

About Me The Technology Man

Hi, Thank's for taking the time to read about me.

My Name is Peter Meehan, I'm 29...

I'm a time served, Experiance Aerial, satellite, Wifi & TV Installion Engineer.

History...

It all started back in 1998, at the tender age of 16, leaving school with 7 GCSE's I did ok, but did not want to go to college as I preferred the money!

I got a job working for Plumbs Sound & Vision in Bolton and started to learn the trade......

Within the next few years a gained NVQ Level 2 & 3 (A Level) standard in Retail, Business Studies & Customer Service.

Move forward 6 years and a move to Sony was on the cards. I did this for years, always liking the high end tech stuff. Over the years my skills with PC's had got rather good due to me wanting to fix my own PC when I got the dreaded Virus's. Being able to fix my own also meant fixing my friend's and family's in my spare time. Also working for Sony and selling Sony VAIO's meant that I got to see all sort of strange faults and was able to fix them. I have a good memory for things like this and I became the person to talk to if you had an issue with a PC.

Along with the PC's I became really good at installing the latest technology, 1080p Full HD LCD TV's & £1500 Amplifiers were a pleasure to install for me because most people (Me Included) only spend a few hundred on Surround Sound. Every time I installed a CRT TV. HD Ready LCD TV or Cinema Surround Sound, I simply remembered the best setup and also asked myself why. If I didn't know I would simply find out. Recently with the Internet coming in full steam research has become easier, no matter how much you read though, It's still better to have a good play with these things to really understand how they work and how to get the best out of them.

Now I'm installing Freeview TV Aerials, Satellite Dishes, fault finding on aerial systems, CCTV & Wifi in Caravan Sites & Hotels
